Terms & Conditions - Fingerprint, handprint, footprint, paw and hoof print Jewellery

The item that you have purchased has been crafted by hand., with no machine involvement.  There will therefore, be variations in each item.  

You (the consumer) have now entered into a  contract with us (the trader) and the contractual obligations for both parties are set out below:

1 - On receipt of full payment we (the trader) will send you (the consumer) the appropriate kits with which to take your print within 24-48 hours of purchase (allowing for weekends and bank holidays)

2 - You (the consumer) will finalise your contractual obligation to us (the trader) by  completing the aforementioned kit(s), returning it/them to us (the trader) within 6 months of receiving the kit(s).

3 - We (the trader) will, upon receipt of the kit(s),  endeavour to make, by hand, your order within 4 weeks (unless you are notified otherwise) thereby completing and finalising our contractual obligation to you (the consumer).

4 - Failure on your part (the consumer) to fulfil your contractual obligation to us (the trader) by not returning the aforementioned kit(s) within 6 months will forfeit any payments already made by you (the consumer) and we (the trader) will no longer be contractually obligated to fulfil and complete your order.

5 - The quality of the finger print, hand print, foot print or paw print on the silver keepsake jewellery  will only be as good as the one that has been submitted via the supplied kit.  Where possible we will work from the returned kit, however, there may be occasions where the prints are not suitable for us to work with.  Should this situation arise you will be contacted (provided contact details have been supplied)  Additional kits can be purchased via the 'Accessories page'.

6 - Every care is  taken to ensure that the end product is as perfect as it can be and is carefully checked prior to despatch.  Your item will be carefully packaged for posting.

7 - Engraving of names:  Names will be copied exactly from the form returned with your completed kit.  Please ensure that writing is clear and spelling correct as we will not take responsibility for incorrect spelling on your silver keepsake jewellery, unless it is found to be our error. 

8 - Please also note that all fonts displayed are examples only and does not necessarily mean that your charm will come with the same font as perhaps seen in a picture displayed within our website.  Every effort is made to ensure that the character(s) displayed closesly matches the letter/initials/name you have requested as some fonts do not clearly display the character requested.  Some fonts will be printed into the silver and others will be engraved by hand.

9 - Jump rings will not normally be soldered unless a) specifically requested or b) they are on larger/heavier items such as keyrings or Angel wings.    We are more than happy for an item to be returned with the jump ring so that it can be soldered,  with postage at your expense, or recommend that you discuss soldering with a jeweller local to you although any charges incurred via this method will be solely down to you, we cannot however be responsible should the jump ring come open during the course of natural/normal/daily wear and tear.

 

POSTAGE:

All kits will be dispatched via 1st class post and will include a pre-paid envelope in which to return them (UK only).  For Overseas customer's the cost of postage of kit(s) and finished item to you are included within the postage charges.  Unfortunately, there is no way we can pre-pay the postage for return to the UK, you will therefore, be required to pay return postage - adjustments to postage have been made to allow for this.  Finished items will be dispatched via 1st Recorded/Signed for in the UK and International Signed For for Overseas excluding our glass items due to their increased weight.

Glass items will be posted via 1st Class - additional postage may be charged if the glass items exceed an acceptable weight.

SPECIAL NEXT DAY DELIVERY (UK customers only):

The option to upgrade postage to Special Next Day Delivery is available to UK Customers.  This is normally for the finished item  i.e Kits (unless requested otherwise) will be dispatched via normal 1st Class Postage and your finished item will be dispatched via Special Next Day Delivery.  The cost of this service does NOT cover both the kit and finished item via Special Next Day Delivery - only one or the other will be dispatched via this method.

For Special Next Day Delivery orders placed between Monday to 1500 hours Thursday will be dispatched via Next Day Delivery.  For Orders placed on Friday or Saturday then Special Next Day Delivery will be the following Monday.  If the kit is required urgently for the Saturday then please contact us as soon as possible and arrangements can be made to pay the additional costs incurred for Special Next Delivery on a Saturday, which is approximately £16.00.  For orders placed on a Sunday then Special Next Day Delivery will be the following Tuesday.

 

RETURNS:

Returns will be accepted and refunds issued if items are found to be faulty and we are notified within 14 days of receipt.  The item should be returned to us with a description of what you believe to be faulty/damaged.  Postage will initially be at your own expense.  If the item is found to be faulty then postage costs will be refunded.  However, it should be recognised that all items are handcrafted and will have variations - these will NOT be accepted as faults.  Returns will  NOT be accepted in relation to the quality of the print thereon or incorrect spelling of names, unless the spelling is found to be our error.

 

SUPPORTED CHARITIES:

We support two amazing local charities - the Your Raise Me Up Charity and Haydn's Wish.  When either of these charities are quoted at point of SALE,  a 10% donation (excluding postage) will be made to the chosen charity.  Only ONE charity can be chosen per sale.  Donations will NOT be made unless the charity name is quoted in the Special Instructions Box at checkout.  Donations will NOT be applicable/made during Tasmia Trinkets and Charms SALE Events/Promotions.

 

DISCOUNTS/PROMOTION & OFFERS:

It should be noted that offers and/or promotions cannot be used in conjunction with each other.  Postage costs will not be included within the discount/offers or promotion unless stated at the time.  Discounts/Promotional codes will not apply to previous, existing or completely bespoke orders.

 

DELIVERY TIME (Made to Order items)

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks from when your completed kit has been received by us for your silver keepsake jewellery to be handcrafted and posted to you.  For items that do not require a kit, please allow up to 4 weeks from when your order is received.  Should you require your order by a specific date please notify us at time of purchases and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.  Time scales may vary during busier periods.

 

HALLMARK

The current legislation in relation to hallmarking is:

items can be sold as silver provided they are less than 7.78 grammes in weight. 

All charms and items within the silver designs range are carefully checked for weight, because they are less than 7.78 grammes they will not be hallmarked.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS

We reserve the right to publish photographs of all charms and/or fingerprint, handprint, footprint and paw print jewellery made on our website, facebook page and twitter account.  Charms made as gifts (with dates that we are made aware of) will not be published until after that date to avoid spoiling any surprises.
